Are you wondering, “How does Lane Keeping Assist work?” This system works in conjunction with Traffic Jam Assist and uses a camera to detect lane markings, though it may not detect all lane markings as accuracy will vary depending on weather, speed, and road conditions. The camera detects and monitors left and right, white or yellow traffic lane lines. If LKAS detects you’re drifting without a turn signal, it can apply mild steering torque to get you back to the center of the lane.
